How's This? - Shop Together is a shared shopping decision app. This policy explains what information the app uses to provide carts, product imports, votes, comments, notifications, and advertising.
Information We Collect
- Account profile information such as display name, email address, and optional profile photo.
- Shared cart content such as cart names, invite codes, product links, product images, prices, votes, comments, and purchase status.
- Device notification tokens used to send cart and product activity notifications.
- Advertising delivery signals used by Google AdMob where ads are enabled.
How We Use Information
- To authenticate users and show the right carts and members.
- To import product details from supported shopping links.
- To show votes, comments, and recent activity to cart members.
- To send push notifications for cart and product updates.
- To display non-personalized ads.
No Tracking Cookies
How's This? - Shop Together does not use cookies, advertising identifiers, or data broker information to track users across other companies' apps or websites on Apple devices. The app requests non-personalized ads from Google AdMob and does not use the App Tracking Transparency permission because tracking is not performed.
Services We Use
The app uses Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Cloud Run parser services, and Google AdMob. These services process data as needed to operate the app. Product link parsing may use short-lived store cookies only to read the product page language, currency, image, name, and price from the shared shopping link; those cookies are not used to track users across apps or websites.
Data Deletion
When users delete products, carts, previous profile photos, or their account, the app removes the related service data and storage objects.
User Choices
Users can edit their profile, delete carts and products they are allowed to manage, and delete their account from inside the app.
